Student Code of Behaviour
Our core purpose is to create an orderly and organised environment where effective learning can take place, where all students are able to achieve their very best and where every person in our community feels valued.

Our expectations will enable students to:

• Have a sense of worth
• Enjoy their learning
• Contribute positively to the community
• Be successful
• Develop strong modal values and a sense of fair play
• Work well with others
• Take responsibility for their own learning and behaviour

High standards of achievement and behaviour are achieved at The Thetford Academy by all members of staff being fair and consistent when dealing with students.

The key elements needed to improve behaviour, attitude and attainment of students are the use of positive discipline and consistency.
