The Thetford Academy is an 11 – 19 Secondary School specialising in English and Mathematics in Thetford which opened in September 2010. The Thetford Academy offers a caring and supportive place to learn and grow combined with a safe environment that makes young people want to attend and take pride in their House and Academy.

Our commitment is to provide the best learning environment for all our learners. We recognise that every person is unique, and our dedicated staff work hard with students to provide the most effective, personalised learning experience.

We achieve this through our partnerships within the local learning community – other schools, colleges, training providers and employers, parents and volunteer groups – all of whom contribute towards each student’s rich and varied learning experiences.

Our specialisms are English and Mathematics. These subjects are the core of our lives in today’s society. Sound knowledge and understanding of their application allows us to communicate efficiently, effectively and economically.

As the Academy grows it will provide an exciting and applied learning experience relevant for the 21st century world of work and access to a wide range of courses and the best technology.
