Gifted and Talented

The most able students in the sixth form will be supported by two
Gifted & Talented mentors who work within the academy with the sole
aim of raising aspirations and attainment. This support can take
several forms; from direct intervention in the classroom to a careers
related trip.

We also have strong ties with Corpus Cristi College Oxford where the
Director of Post-16 Learning takes a small number of high achieving
year 11′s and year 12′s to experience life in the colleges to dispel
myths on life at Oxbridge Colleges and how to apply.
